Liverpool fans here in the Tavern are yet to see Virgil Van Dijk live up to his price-tag since joining the Reds, as his best days are still to be discovered at Anfield.
The Reds made history when they reached out to their supposed ‘feeder club’ Southampton for the services of Virgil Van Dijk, in a £75 million deal that crowned the Dutchman as the world’s most expensive defender. But, he’s yet to live up to his worth so far at Anfield, as fans are starting to worry that Van Dijk may have taken up the same inflation price as a Freddo.
And, as if fans weren’t uncertain enough about their new defender’s efforts so far, then Sporf’s Twitter account may have just condemned any positive views fans had on his time on Merseyside so far, as they took to posting a quite revealing stat that made Kopites’ first fears become a reality.
