# Prolific winger to be at Liverpool next season after transfer decision

**Many of the Liverpool fans who frequent the Transfer Tavern in their droves can be found discussing who they think should sign this summer.**

Still, reports from the [Liverpool Echo](https://www.liverpoolecho.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/liverpool-reject-celtics-approach-harry-13088829) have forced the resident Reds to switch their focus onto potential departures from Anfield this summer.

According to their [report](https://www.liverpoolecho.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/liverpool-reject-celtics-approach-harry-13088829), the Kop titans have rejected an approach from Celtic for academy prospect Harry Wilson. The 20-year-old is highly rated amongst our punters propping up the bar, following his wonderful outings in the club’s U23 side.

Already a Welsh international, he’s notched a wonderful 28 goals at that level this season and has [previously been reported](https://www.espn.co.uk/football/soccer-transfers/story/3133050/liverpools-harry-wilson-targeted-by-celtic-and-wolves-sources) to have attracted interest from both the Bhoys and Championship side Wolves.

Well, according to [the Echo,](https://www.liverpoolecho.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/liverpool-reject-celtics-approach-harry-13088829) Celtic did make a loan approach. Still, Liverpool are [understood](https://www.liverpoolecho.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/liverpool-reject-celtics-approach-harry-13088829) to have snubbed any attempts to take the young winger away from Merseyside, either on loan or a permanent deal.

Jurgen Klopp is [said](https://www.liverpoolecho.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/liverpool-reject-celtics-approach-harry-13088829) to see Wilson as a part of his first-team squad next season, much to the delight of our local Liverpool fans.

**Thoughts?**
