# ‘Put him in a bag and take him to Elland Road’ – Leeds fans beg for signing after Pearce photo

**The Leeds United fans here in the Transfer Tavern have been taking to Twitter to urge one of their academy stars to bring another back, however ambitious it may be.**

Indeed, with our resident Yorkshiremen largely focusing on who the next manager may be, it’s nice for them to get a break from such speculation, we suppose! Well, it seems Whites online were prompted into action following Tom Pearce’s tweet celebrating England’s Toulon Tournament win at U21 level, in which he was snapped alongside Lewis Cook.

Cook, who left at Elland Road last summer, was unlucky not to make Gareth Southgate’s team at senior level after an impressive campaign with Bournemouth. Indeed, while he may now have moved onto bigger and better things, the photo of two of Leeds’ most talented academy graduates has prompted fans into dreaming.

With that in mind, here’s a look at how fans urged Pearce to bring Cook back to Elland Road.
