# Queens Park Rangers: Fans rave over English youngster

**Queens Park Rangers fans are raving over their youngster Eberechi Eze after he was pictured in training with the England under-21 squad. The youth star was spotted racing clear of Manchester City’s Phil Foden.**

The youngster received his first-ever call-up to the youth squad ahead of the European Championship qualifiers against [Turkey and Kosovo](https://www.qpr.co.uk/news/club-news/ebere-eze-earns-first-england-u21-call-up/).

Eze has been in sparkling form this season, scoring in the wins over [Stoke City and Wigan Athletic](https://www.qpr.co.uk/news/club-news/ebere-eze-earns-first-england-u21-call-up/) in August – leaving him on course to better last season’s tally of [four goals](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/eberechi-eze/leistungsdatendetails/spieler/479999), having started well for the Hoops under Mark Warburton.

Eze had been linked with moves to top-flight sides [Tottenham Hotspur and Southampton](https://www.caughtoffside.com/2019/08/25/spurs-keeping-tabs-on-championship-starlet-pochettino-could-go-head-to-head-with-old-club-in-transfer-race/) over the course of the summer.

Fans flocked to Twitter to laud the youngster after the image was posted by the club’s official Twitter account.
