# Wolves: Fans fume over Rafa Mir transfer update

**Many Wolves fans have been left to fume as a transfer update emerged on Rafa Mir.**

As per [El Periodico Mediterraneo](https://www.elperiodicomediterraneo.com/villarrealcf/2021/06/02/primeros-nombres-lista-negueroles-villarreal-52541363.html), Villarreal are considering a move to sign the striker in the summer window, with a price quoted at between €6-8m (£5.2-6.9m) for his signature.

Considering that he has come off the back of a very good season with Huesca, scoring no fewer than 16 goals in 39 games in total over all competitions ([Transfermarkt](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/rafa-mir/leistungsdatendetails/spieler/361254/plus/0?saison=2020&verein=&liga=&wettbewerb=&pos=&trainer_id=)), several members of the Molineux faithful feel as if the quoted fee is too low.

Also, at 23 years of age, the Spaniard will surely have some sell-on value as well, and so a lot of supporters of the Midlands club feel like selling him for such a low price is not worth it all, and so they should be looking at keeping him instead.

These Wanderers fumed as the transfer update was shared on [Twitter](https://twitter.com/TalkingWolves/status/1400852113304002571), with one even going as far as to claim that it was ‘shocking’:
