# Rangers: Fans react as Juventus weigh up £8m move for Glen Kamara

**Lots of Rangers fans have been reacting to a rather surprising transfer rumour, as Italian champions Juventus are reportedly targeting Glen Kamara.**

According to The Mail on Sunday, per [The Daily Record](https://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/sport/football/football-transfer-news/glen-kamara-eyed-juventus-look-21001449), the Serie A giants are eying the Finland international, with the Gers placing an £8m price tag on their rising star.

Purchased for just [£50k](https://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/sport/football/football-transfer-news/glen-kamara-eyed-juventus-look-21001449) in January 2019, the 24 year-old has been fantastic for Steven Gerrard’s side, and the report claims Juventus see him as a ‘potential project player’.

The club will of course be hesitant to lose such a talented player, but an £8m exit would be 160 times what they paid for him, so they may see it as a really astute piece of business.

Gerrard [lamented the exit link](https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/50623999) after the win over Hearts, but that hasn’t stopped loads of fans from weighing in on the possible move, with one admitting they would be wrong to begrudge him a switch to a Champions League contender.

Other fans have jokingly suggested some pretty ambitious swap deals, and you can find some of the best Twitter reactions down below…

> He’s perfectly suited to Italian football.

> Couldn’t grumble if he joins a team of that calibre, would be a very decent fee too

> Very decent fee but the fact that it’s Juve 10m at least. His style would suit well for them too

> He would actually be very good in that league. I’d be wanting more than £8million of them though.
