Glasgow Rangers have had a fantastic start to the 2020/21 season.
The Ibrox outfit are currently top of the Premiership, with Steven Gerrard leading his side to 9 wins from their first 11 matches – they have drawn the other two. Not only that, the Gers also started their Europa League group with a 2-0 win over Standard Liege thanks to a penalty from James Tavernier and a stunning strike from Kemar Roofe.
Of course, this term comes after a difficult previous campaign that ended in peculiar circumstances. The season was brought to a premature close due to the coronavirus pandemic, with the Gers adamant that the campaign should be finished on the pitch. As such, Celtic were given the title with nine games to spare, whilst the sides top of the Championship, League One and League Two all earned promotion.
It was Dundee United who were in first place in the second tier. The Gers seem to have problems with the Tangerines – they were one of the sides who refused to see Rangers kept in the top flight in 2012 when they they entered administration, and the Rangers supporters were not happy when they celebrated their promotion earlier this year.

That is why the Ibrox faithful seem delighted that the Tannadice outfit have asked the players and staff to take a 20% pay cut. They took to Twitter to share their thoughts on this news.
