Rangers: Journalist hails ‘unbelievable’ Fashion Sakala finish

The Rangers Review journalist Joshua Barrie has been left hailing Fashion Sakala for his ‘unbelievable’ finish as Glasgow Rangers won on Wednesday night.
The Lowdown: Routine victory
It was a routine victory for Rangers in the end as goals from Sakala, James Tavernier and a double from Antonio Colak cancelled out a Connor Goldson own goal to put Hibernian in front on the night.
The 4-1 win meant that they kept the pressure on Scottish Premiership leaders Celtic at the top of the table, who also tasted victory.
The Latest: Sakala praised
Taking to Twitter, Barrie hailed Sakala’s finish for his goal as ‘unbelievable’, as he turned the defender before unleashing an effort into the bottom corner with his left foot:
“What an unbelievable finish from Sakala. That is superb. Again, all comes from Rangers’ shape forcing Marshall into a long ball.”
The Verdict: Key player
Sakala is becoming a key player under Michael Beale, as that goal, along with his two assists, puts him on 12 goal contributions under the new manager.
The forward was a general menace throughout, winning five of his duels and recording seven shots in total, while he also completed a team-high four successful dribbles and seven key passes (SofaScore).
Indeed, Sakala was the standout player in an impressive overall performance from the away side, and the 25-year-old will need to keep up his form if the Gers are to have any chance of catching Celtic.
