Glasgow Rangers: Fans rage at Ibrox club’s tweet - Rangers News

A number of Glasgow Rangers fans have reacted angrily to a tweet from the club (via @RangersFC) featuring comments from Steven Gerrard reflecting on pre-season, although the nature of most fans’ ire is unrelated to anything that the manager said.

Instead, the fury of many supporters arose from the club posting official correspondence which did not confirm transfer activity involving Bongani Zungu, the Amiens midfielder who has recently been linked with a move to Ibrox.

According to The Scottish Sun, the ‘Gers have agreed a fee of Β£3.6m for the South Africa midfielder, with The Scotsman reporting that the Light Blues have been given the green light to begin discussing personal terms with the 27-year-old.
