Cedric Itten arrived at Glasgow Rangers for £2.7m in the summer hoping to set the Scottish Premiership alight. After a quiet start to life at Ibrox, the forward recently scored his first and second goals for the 'Gers.

The brace came in an away victory against Motherwell in late September, per Transfermarkt, meaning he has scored two goals in nine games so far for the club.

Both Itten and the 'Gers will hope that this can spark a more consistent scoring return after the international break. His first goal at Fir Park was a special one as he scored a half-volley from outside the box, a strike so impressive that it won him the September Goal of the Month award in the Premiership.

It picked up 52% of the votes and this accolade should give the Swiss international a much-needed morale boost after his quiet start at the club. A lot of 'Gers fans have been reacting to the news and they are understandably celebrating his award win.

Itten's goals have come at the right time, as their next game is against rivals Celtic, when a repeat of his Fir Park heroics would be most welcome for the Light Blues.
