Glasgow Rangers: Fans unhappy with Steven Gerrard injury update on Leon Balogun and Joe Aribo

Glasgow Rangers have had a good start to the Premiership season.
The ‘Gers have won three and drawn one of their first four games and they have not even conceded a goal in the process. Today they host Kilmarnock at Ibrox and, if they win, they can go nine points clear of Celtic as they play before their Glasgow rivals this weekend.
In the last match, they encountered their first real hiccup as they drew 0-0 at Livingston. It was no coincidence that that is the only clash which Joe Aribo has missed so far, as an injury kept him out of the action. It appeared he would miss just one match, though, as Steven Gerrard expected him to be back for the Kilmarnock game.
Will Rangers beat Kilmarnock?
Yes

No

However, it now appears that he spoke too soon. In yesterday’s press conference ahead of today’s match, he confirmed that both Aribo and Leon Balogun – who helped to keep clean sheets in his first two league matches since joining – will play no part.
This did not go down well with some ‘Gers supporters at all – one even called the news a “disaster” – and several fans took to Twitter to share their thoughts. You can see some of the best comments from the social media platform below.
This is giving me the fear. Aribo has been brilliant so far. Team has looked lost without him. https://t.co/ULYkFxa5RP

Potential 0-0 ahead again 😭

Cheers for ruining my whole weekend with that news

Oh dear. Aribo is our only midfielder who has the talent to take on players. Another dismal 70%- 30% possession match.
