Whilst Glasgow Rangers may be trailing Bayer Leverkusen from their Europa League round of 16 first leg, they now know who they will play in the next round of the competition in they can get through that tie.
The ‘Gers lost 3-1 to the Bundesliga outfit at Ibrox before the pandemic caused havoc, meaning that their second leg had to be postponed. UEFA have since confirmed the return of the competition, although it will be a one-match knockout tournament from the quarter-finals onwards rather than the usual home and away set-up.
Following today’s draw for the latter stages of the competition, it has been confirmed that, if the ‘Gers manage to turn around the 3-1 deficit, they will play either Getafe or Internazionale in the quarter-final, whilst they will face one of Wolfsburg, Eintracht Frankfurt, Shakhtar Donetsk or FC Basel if they manage to progress to the last four.
Can Rangers turn it around against Bayer Leverkusen?

Genuinely hope Leverkusen beat us now. Always wanted to see Inter at the San Siro, couldn’t last time we played them cos of a closed stadium, now cos of Coronavirus. I could actually cry.
