Greg Docherty has failed to make a real impression since joining Glasgow Rangers.
He made the move from Hamilton Academical for £671,000, according to Transfermarkt, in January of 2018, but since then he has only been able to make nine appearances for the Gers. He has spent time on loan, both at Shrewsbury and Hibernian, and with 13 goals and 16 assists in 58 games across those two spells, he has not disappointed, but that has done little to see his stock increase at Ibrox.
Now, according to The Daily Record, he could be on the move very soon. The report says that the 23-year-old is not in Steven Gerrard’s plans this coming campaign, and that he could be in line for a move, with Hull City a likely destination.
Do you agree with Greg Docherty being loaned or sold?
This news has attracted the attention of the Gers supporters, and it seems they would not be too unhappy to see him depart. They have taken to Twitter to share their thoughts, and you can see some of the best comments from the social media platform below.
It’s best for Doc. Shame because I really wanted it to work out for him here, another one who’s lived the dream. But he’s too talented a player to be wasting away on a bench https://t.co/yKzAS5lueI

Hopefully permanent and the time for this has come. If we get a fee for him them great. It will not be what he is worthand i think he will go onto to be a good player. I still think he could do a job for Rangers but Gerrard just does not fancy him.

Gerrard doesn’t like him, Greg loves Rangers, but, time to get a club where he will flourish on a permanent deal. Can do a job, anywhere.

Hope he goes to England not staying up here.
Proved himself everywhere he’s had a chance but doesn’t look like he’s getting one here

Such a shame. I like the lad and was a great prospect but Stevie G is a much better judge than I’ll ever be
