Glasgow Rangers: Fans fume at Borna Barisic against Motherwell - Rangers News

Many Glasgow Rangers fans are fuming with defender Borna Barisic for his first half performance during the the Scottish Premiership match against Motherwell.

The defender has been solid in the SPFL this season before the match, playing 14 times, scoring once and picking up two assists (WhoScored). He has also managed on average 1.1 interceptions a game.

Motherwell opened the scoring in the sixth minute (SofaScore) and many are blaming the left-back due to the fact that the cross came in from that flank. One fan was clearly very frustrated as they said the Croatia international’s defending was ‘shocking’.

With the Gers getting knocked out of the League Cup in the semi-finals during the week fans may worry that this could be the start of some poor form. This is definitely not what they will want to start happening over the Christmas period as they sit twelve points clear at the top of the table before the final whistle on Saturday.
