Glasgow Rangers: Fans flock to Ross McCrorie tweet - Rangers News

Ross McCrorie has completed a move from Glasgow Rangers to Aberdeen.

At one point, it appeared the 22-year-old had a bright future at Ibrox – Steven Gerrard even said that he had the potential to be a future captain. However, after just 55 appearances, he has been moved on to one of the Gers’ rivals in the Premiership. The deal will first see him move on loan for a season, before the Dons sign him permanently for a fee of £350,000.

Who scored more goals for the Gers?

McCrorie has been with the 54-time Scottish champions for more than 10 years, working his way through the youth teams to the senior side, and upon his departure from the club, he shared an emotional message on Twitter in which he said goodbye to those at the club and the fans.

As you would expect, it attracted plenty of attention from the Gers supporters. It seems that many wish the £810,000-valued midfielder (as per Transfermarkt) well, with some disappointed to see him leave, but others do not seem happy he has joined Aberdeen – their has been plenty of bad blood between the two down the years.
