Glasgow Rangers: Fans rage at Ryan Jack’s omission from Scotland XI

Glasgow Rangers’ Ryan Jack was left on the bench for Scotland’s match against Czech Republic on Monday.
The Gers man had started against Israel in the previous match, the Tartan Army’s first of this season’s UEFA Nations League, and although Scotland were only able to manage a 1-1 draw, Jack was one of the side’s better players with a SofaScore rating of 6.9 – he completed 95% of his attempted passes, whilst he also won three tackles.
However, he was not selected by Steve Clarke against the Locomotive, and it almost backfired – the Gers were only able to win 2-1 against a side that had to change their whole squad just days before, and even that was after they had conceded first.
Should Ryan Jack have been named in the starting XI?
Yes

No

Gers fans reacted to the news that £1.53m-valued Jack – as per Transfermarkt – was not named in the starting XI, and it is fair to say they were far from happy. They took to Twitter to share their thoughts, and you can see some of the best comments from the social media platform below.

So jakey Clarke has dropped Ryan Jack and started the stunningly awful Marshall in goal, @ScottishFA this clown has got to go, his bar bill alone must be costing a fortune!

That’s unreal! Ryan Jack was one of the best players the other night. Clarke just can’t hide how much he hates us! Wont support a Scotland team again

Scotland deserve to lose for the fact Kieran Tierney and Ryan Jack are both on the bench. That’s a sackable offence in itself for me.
