Glasgow Rangers continued their impressive form so far this campaign against Dundee United at Ibrox on Sunday.
The Gers beat the Tangerines 4-0, thanks to goals from Ryan Kent, James Tavernier, Kemar Roofe and Scott Arfield, with the three points helping them retain their spot at the top of the Premiership table. They are also six points clear of their fierce rivals Celtic, as well – it could hardly have gone better for Steven Gerrard and co.
In particular, Kent has been in stunning form. That is already his fourth goal of the season, to go along with the two assists he has picked up as well. He has been the subject of interest from Leeds United, with the Gers even turning down a £10m offer for him, but it looks like he will be staying put for the time being.
His goal against Dundee United was particularly impressive, with him tying up one of the opponent’s defenders in knots before slamming the ball home. The club’s official Twitter account shared this in GIF form on Monday, and it went down a treat with the club’s supporters – one even called him “the Rangers Ronaldo”.
