Steven Gerrard is quite popular with Glasgow Rangers fans.
The former Liverpool boss rocked up at Ibrox two years ago, and is now about to enter into his third season. Although he has not yet picked up a major piece of silverware with the Gers, there have been some positive signs, such as the progression to the Europa League round of 16 – they are still in the competition, as well, with them facing Bayer Leverkusen in the second leg in August.
He certainly seems to be more popular than Mark Warburton, anyway, given some of the fans responses to an Opta stat. The former boss of the 54-time Scottish champions is currently with Queens Park Rangers, and it has been revealed that the London outfit conceded 42 goals at home last season, which is more than any other campaign in their history in the Football League.
Do you like Mark Warburton?
This, as previously mentioned, has attracted the attention of the Gers supporters, and they have taken to Twitter to share their thoughts – one fan even called him a “fraud”. You can see some of the best comments from the social media platform below.
Doesn’t do defensive shape, doesn’t practice defending set pieces. A complete snake oil salesman.

He has some great ideas and his teams play great football but he is so stubborn and pig headed that he will not sort outhis defence or how to defend. You can imagine how many set piece goals they conceded. Then you have playing from the back with players who cannot every time.

They will learn from it and go again, work at doing Plan A better, and introduce John Eustace in 7 to 10days, which will help with pitch geography… the man is complete charlatan.

Will never forgive him for not working on defending at set pieces. Cost us a cup final

wonder how many of those were from corners, thats a manager who is to stubborn to admit something isnt working and it will mean he’ll do nothing in football
