Brian Laudrup is undoubtedly one of the best players ever to pull on the Glasgow Rangers shirt.
By the time he rocked up at Ibrox in 1994, he had already played for Bayern Munich, Fiorentina and AC Milan, and had also helped his country Denmark to their win in the 1992 European Championships, but he saved some of his best football for the 54-time Scottish champions.
His displays helped the Gers win the Scottish Premiership three times, as well as the Scottish Cup and the Scottish League Cup once each. His performances wrote himself into the history of the club.
Is Brian Laudrup the best player you have seen play for Rangers?
Now retired, he has been struggling with follicular lymphoma for the past 10 years – this does not appear to be common knowledge. On Monday, though, he revealed that he has now been given the all-clear, which has gone down fantastically with the club’s supporters.
They took to Twitter to share their delight, and you can see some of the best comments from the social media platform below.
