Glasgow Rangers have had a strong start to the Premiership season so far.
The Gers have won four and drawn one of their first five matches, whilst they are yet to even concede a goal. Steven Gerrard will be hoping to continue his side’s form this weekend with a win against Hamilton.
Here, we try and predict his starting XI for the match.
Across the backline, there may just be one change. Leon Balogun has returned to full training, and as such, he could come back into the side in place of Filip Helander. He would therefore join Connor Goldson, Borna Barisic and James Tavernier in defence.
Glen Kamara was not included in the starting XI against Kilmarnock, but given he has started every other game this term, he should come back in place of Steven Davis. He will play alongside Ryan Jack.
Behind the striker, Ryan Kent should start despite the heavy interest from Leeds, whilst Ianis Hagi should return to the line-up. Brandon Barker, who picked up a WhoScored rating of 7.01 against Kilmarnock, should retain his place.
Will Rangers beat Hamilton this weekend?
Up front, expect Kemar Roofe to start. He scored on his full debut last week, and with Alfredo Morelos dropped from the previous game, Roofe has done nothing to merit being taken from the first XI.
