This week has started well for Glasgow Rangers as they managed to emphatically beat Dutch side Willem II 4-0 to proceed to the next round of the Europa League qualifiers.

However last weekend, the Gers dropped points in the Scottish Premiership as they drew 2-2 to Hibernian and Steven Gerrard will be hoping that it was only a blip and that they will be picking up the three points this weekend as they face Motherwell in the division.

With a quick turn-a-round due to their European match, some players might be a bit tired, but Gerrard cannot afford to take Motherwell lightly and rest his key men as they are only one point in front of Old Firm rivals Celtic, who have a game in hand on the Gers, per SPFL. Here is the TT predicted XI which sees Gerrard make two changes from the Europa League victory.

Allan McGregor was in between the sticks against Willem, but there is no doubt that Jon McLaughlin is in great form in the division as he has made seven appearances, kept six clean sheets and only conceded two goals, per Transfermarkt, so it is quite probable that he will return against Motherwell.

The only other possible change might not go down too well with supporters of the Scottish side, as Filip Helander, who scored two goals in the Europa League on Thursday, could lose his place to Leon Balogun, who is looking to return to full match fitness.

With the Gers playing in Europe again next week, it would be a good opportunity for Gerrard to give Helander, who is very experienced in the Champions League and Europa League, a break and give Balogun a chance to get some game time. The centre-back has an average rating of 7.47, per SofaScore, this season, which is very respectable and his stats show he has been solid as he has averaged two interceptions, 1.3 tackles and 2.3 clearances per game.

Meanwhile an injury to Joe Aribo seems to still be an issue, with the player not selected in the Nigeria squad for the upcoming international fixtures and Steven Davis, Glen Kamara and Scott Arfield will look to dominate the middle of the park.

Despite both Ryan Kent and Alfredo Morelos being linked with moves away, with Leeds United keen on the former, and Lille wanting the latter, the two are still key players performing well. Kent picked up a goal in Europe this week and Morelos has three goals in the Premiership this season, so they will most likely form an attacking trio with Ianis Hagi this weekend.
