Journalist Pete O'Rourke has claimed that Glen Kamara could still leave Glasgow Rangers before the transfer window closes.

The Lowdown: In demand

The Finland midfielder is a man in demand this window, with multiple clubs seemingly in pursuit of the 26-year-old.

The likes of Aston Villa, Galatasary and Nottingham Forest all reportedly interested in his signature.

The Ibrox club have already sold Joe Aribo to Southampton and Calvin Bassey to Ajax this summer, so they could also let Kamara leave for the right price.

The Latest: Kamara to leave Rangers?

Speaking to GIVEMESPORT, O'Rourke has claimed that there could be a 'late twist' with regards to Kamara's future, adding that a move away from Rangers before the end of the window should not be ruled out.

The journalist stated: “I think there could still be a late twist. There’s been quite a few clubs interested in Glen Kamara from the Premier League and from abroad as well. So you can never rule out a possible move. We’ve still got plenty of time left in this transfer window as well and, I think for Rangers’ sake, if it’s an offer they can’t turn down they would have to maybe let Kamara move on.”

The Verdict: Keep him!

After losing Aribo and Bassey, the Gers simply cannot afford to lose another key player in Kamara in the same transfer window.

Once hailed as a ‘Rolls Royce’ by his former manager Steven Gerrard, the Finland international racked up a mammoth 52 appearances in total over all competitions last term, scoring four goals and supplying a further five assists from the middle of the park (Transfermarkt).

He has already played (and started) in two of Rangers' three matches so far this term, showing that Giovanni van Bronckhorst considers him an important player, so the Light Blues must avoid selling him if possible.
