Rangers: Fans laud Ianis Hagi’s performance

Many Rangers fans showered front man Ianis Hagi with praise after his side’s 1-0 win against St Johnstone on Wednesday night.
The 22-year-old scored the only goal of the game as the Gers extended their lead to 23 points at the top of the Scottish Premiership table, although arch-rivals Celtic still have two games in hand.
Hagi featured for 81 minutes before he was brought off by Steven Gerrard having netted his fourth goal of the season, and shone as his side came out on top.
Per Whoscored, the Romanian striker managed to complete three interceptions, had two shots on goal and accumulated a pass success rate of 80.6%. His strike to seal the match was a sweet one too, perhaps one Gerrard would be proud of given his tendency for bagging memorable goals in his playing days.
Should Hagi start for Rangers?

Unsurprisingly, supporters were delighted with Hagi’s strike and some reacted to his post-match interview on Twitter after the win.
