Fans of Glasgow Rangers have been reacting to a post on Twitter, in which Rangers confirmed that Gers goalkeeper, Allan McGregor, has penned a new deal at Ibrox.
According to a statement posted on the club website, McGregor has put pen to paper on a one-year contract extension with Rangers, a deal that will see the 39-year-old remain at Ibrox until the summer of 2022.
Commenting on the shot-stopper's new deal, the Rangers manager, Steven Gerrard, heaped a considerable amount of praise on the former Scotland international, claiming that McGregor has been "outstanding" since his arrival in 2018, as well as suggesting that the 'keeper is well in contention for being one of the club's best-ever number ones.
