Glasgow Rangers fans have been reacting to Alan Stubbs’ Old Firm combined XI, and it is fair to say that they are far from happy.
The Gers face Celtic in a huge clash on Saturday. A win would see them go 19 points clear at the top of the Scottish Premiership with just 16 games to go. As they look for a first piece of major silverware since 2011, it could be a game that ends up defining their season.
Unsurprisingly, the build-up to the clash is already in full flow. In anticipation of the match, Stubbs was asked to put together a combined XI from Rangers and Celtic players, and he selected six Gers men and five representatives from the Bhoys.
Do you agree with this XI?
The Gers supporters, it seems, are far from happy, with them clearly believing more of their own stars should have been included. They took to Twitter to share their displeasure.
Let’s see what the fans had to say about the XI from Stubbs below
“No Roofe is madness”
“That’s why he’s unemployed”
“Turnbulls had 4 okay performances against a championship team, 2 teams at the bottom and a team sitting about 5th still with games in hand. Absolutely mental he’s in ahead of hagi whos had 8 assists and leads the assists table.”
“Alan Stubbs some laugh man”
“No wonder he was a duff manager.”
In other news, this Gers ace is set for a move south of the border.
