Rangers: Fans praise Bongani Zungu

Glasgow Rangers were victorious against Lech Poznan in the Europa League on Thursday as Bongani Zungu made his first start for the club since his loan move in October.
The Gers prevailed 2-0 thanks to goals from Cedric Itten and Ianis Hagi. The three points saw them secure top spot in Group D ahead of Benfica, while they have now also gone 26 games without a defeat in all competitions this term. Things could hardly be going better for Steven Gerrard and co.
On his first inclusion in the starting XI, Zungu was solid. He won four of his eight duels, made three interceptions and won two tackles. He certainly fit into the team well, and Gerrard will be optimistic that he will prove to be an impressive signing for the Ibrox outfit.
Was Zungu Man of the Match against Lech Poznan?

I think in zungu we have a player potentially worth a fortune to us. He got a calming influence and can pick the right pass 9/10 times his positioning to break up play is fantastic

Masterclass again tonight with so many changes. Thought Zungu was excellent shades of Vieira in his game & his covering work spluttu g the centre halves was briiliant as was tav telling off Barker for not tracking back with 5 to go. Well done & thank you Rangers
