Glasgow Rangers fans have been reacting to a goal from Clint Hill that was shared by the club’s official Twitter account on Thursday.
Whilst the Gers may be top of the Premiership by nine points at the moment, they haven’t always had it so good recently. In fact, they have not lifted the Scottish League title since 2011 after having to work their way back from the fourth tier of the footballing pyramid north of the border, demoted after encountering financial issues.
Hill’s goal came during the 2016/17 season, which was the Gers’ first back in the top flight, and it earned them a draw. Of course, it was a fantastic moment at the time, but looking back the Gers were nowhere near where they should have been.
Will Rangers win the league this season?
The Gers fans have been reacting to the video, and some were quick to point out how poor that side was. They took to Twitter to do so.
Let’s see what the fans had to say about the strike from Hill below
Shows you how bad we where, Emerson Hyndman looked like Pirlo in that midfield and then he couldnt even make a mark on the Hibs squad. Gives me the fear that team.

A rare highlight during a terrible time for the club/fans
The limbs in the away end were something else during that 😂
Also for anyone who will criticise Tom for his commentary during this, he’s just a fan like the rest of us at the end of the day! The away end was bedlam 😂 https://t.co/PwPAa7aM0L
