Former Premier League man Dean Windass does not understand the links between John Lundstram at Sheffield United and Glasgow Rangers.
Windass baffled by Lundstram link
“That’s not for me. I don’t get it. I don’t get it at all.
“I’m not being rude, people probably said I was a bad player, it’s just my opinion.
“But I don’t get that. I don’t understand why he’s not staying, maybe he thinks he’s better than Sheffield United.
“Does he want more money? Maybe they just think he’s only worth so much.”
Change of scenery
Lundstram impressed last season with the Blades in the Premier League. He scored five times in 34 appearances in all competitions, and was even called a “fantastic example” by Sheffield United manager Chris Wilder thanks to his behaviour and attitude at the club.
Would you like to sign Lundstram?
Currently earning just £4,000 a week with the Yorkshire outfit, one of the reasons for leaving is likely to be an increased pay package. A change of scenery, too, would make sense, especially as his current club look like they will be relegated to the Championship after failing to win any of their first 17 games in the Premier League this term. Rangers could offer him a new start and an increased chance of success, and would also be able to give him more than what he is currently earning. All in all, it is a link that makes sense.
In other news, Rangers fans rage at this Old Firm claim.
