Many Glasgow Rangers fans are not too happy with a photo tweeted by the club in the aftermath of their Scottish Cup defeat to St Johnstone.

The Gers had the potential to turn what was already a great season into an exceptional one if they lifted the Scottish Cup. After beating Celtic in the fourth round, they will have been confident of doing just that, but they ended up losing in the quarter-finals to the Saints on penalties. Despite remaining unbeaten in the league (BBC), it means they have failed to get past the last eight in any other competition this season.

On Monday, the club shared a photo of Michael Mols and Claudio Caniggia on their official Twitter account as part of their Pic Of The Day series. However, that didn't go down well with some supporters at all, with many asking them to restrain from tweeting after the embarrassing cup result.

These fans took to the social media platform to share their thoughts.

Let's see what these Rangers fans had to say about the club's tweet
