Glasgow Rangers fans are once again far from happy with Michael Stewart after comments he made on Sportscene and plenty of fans of Steven Gerrard’s side have taken to Twitter to make their feelings known.
On Sunday, the Gers continued their unbeaten run in the Premiership with a 2-1 win over Aberdeen. Not only that, they ended the match weekend having increased their lead at the top of the division to 21 points after Celtic could only draw 1-1 with Hibernian on Monday night. The title looks to be within touching distance for the Ibrox outfit.
Against the Dons, the Gers were helped by a red card for Ryan Hedges after a foul in the box on Alfredo Morelos. It appeared to be a clear penalty and red card, but Stewart was adamant it wasn’t. He even suggested that the rules of the game should be changed to avoid that sort of dismissal.
Do you agree with Michael Stewart?
As you can imagine, the Gers supporters were far from happy with his comments, and they took to social media platform Twitter to share their thoughts.
Let’s see what the fans had to say about Stewart below
