Glasgow Rangers manager Steven Gerrard has revealed that Scott Arfield is set to be missing for four to five weeks due to injury.
Arfield has been in fantastic form for the Ibrox outfit so far this campaign, having scored seven goals and provided five assists in 31 games in all competitions. However, he recently sprained his ankle and has missed both of the Gers last two Premiership matches.
During his pre-match press conference ahead of this weekend’s clash against Aberdeen, Gerrard was asked about Arfield’s situation. He revealed that the Canada international should begin to return in about four to five weeks.
Will Rangers cope without Arfield?
The news attracted plenty of attention from the Gers supporters, and it seems that this update, which was shared on the club’s official Twitter page, has not gone down well with the club’s supporters. They took to the social media platform to share their thoughts.
