Rangers: Ryan Jack back for Gers

The Scotsman has revealed that Ryan Jack could be back for Glasgow Rangers this weekend following his return from injury.
Jack is back
Jack has missed the last 13 games through injury due to a longstanding knee issue.
However, he returned to full team training this week, and could therefore be in contention to appear against Motherwell in the Premiership this weekend.
Be careful
Having Jack back available is now doubt a boost for Steven Gerrard, especially as we enter what it is to be a crucial part of the campaign. Only injury has kept Jack from playing a part in every single Premiership game this term (Transfermarkt), while his performances helped Scotland qualify for Euro 2020.
Will Jack play this weekend?
Yes

No

Just last November, Gerrard called Jack “fantastic” following that success on the international stage (The Glasgow Times) – he is clearly a player the boss appreciates.
Having said that, he must resist the temptation to put him back into the side straight away. After all, the Ibrox outfit have won each of their last eight games in the league (Sky Sports) without the £1.53m-valued 28-year-old, so it isn’t as though they are crying out for him just now. Ease him in slowly, make sure he is fit, and he will no doubt be a valuable presence as the 54-time Scottish champions attempt to end their 10-year wait for a piece of major silverware.
