Renowned Glasgow Rangers podcasters Heart & Hand have relayed that Ryan Jack is 'back training' in an injury boost for Giovanni van Bronckhorst.

The Lowdown: Muscular problem

Van Bronckhorst confirmed back in October that Jack had picked up a muscle injury that would keep him out for the long term.

The central midfielder has missed the Ibrox outfit's last called up to the Scotland squad for their upcoming friendly against Turkey.

The Latest: Back in training

Taking to Twitter, Heart & Hand shared an injury update on Jack from Van Bronckhorst after their 1-0 win at home to Hearts in the Scottish Premiership on Wednesday night:

The Verdict: Big boost

Having Jack back in training is no doubt a big boost for Van Bronckhorst.

The Dutch manager has nine other injuries to first-team players in his squad at the moment, and so has been limited in terms of squad selection.

Before his injury, Jack was a 87.7% pass accuracy in the league is one of the highest in the squad, showing his credentials on the ball.

Nonetheless, he has had a history of injury problems since he has been at the club, so keeping fit through the break for the FIFA World Cup in Qatar will be very important to him.
