Glasgow Rangers bloggers Four Lads Had A Dream were left criticising the display of Borna Barisic in their 2-0 loss in the UEFA Champions League qualifier.

The Lowdown: Disappointing

Giovanni van Bronckhorst admitted after the game that he was disappointed with his team's performance, adding that they now face an uphill battle to turn the aggregate scoreline around in the home leg at Ibrox next Tuesday.

Former Gers striker now pundit Kris Boyd claimed to Sky Sports that they underestimated Union Saint-Gilloise, adding that they were 'really sloppy' on the ball in particular.

The Latest: Barisic criticised

There were a few poor performances in a Light Blues shirt on the night, but Four Lads Had A Dream were particularly critical of Barisic:

"Barisic is all over the place, inviting needless pressure."

The Verdict: Drop him

Barisic's performance against Livingston on the weekend was criticised, and he did not seem to improve on Tuesday night.

The 29-year-old was partially at fault for the first goal conceded, and just never recovered from that as they went down 2-0 on the night.

The Teddy Bears have recently signed a new left-back in Ridvan Yilmaz from Besiktas, so it will be interesting to see whether Van Bronckhorst keeps the faith in Barisic going into the next couple of matches, or replaces him in the starting line-up with the Turkey international.
