According to Football Insider, Glasgow Rangers are braced for intense interest in midfielder Joe Aribo next summer.
Clubs to swoop for Aribo
Despite missing a number of games through injury, he already has four goals in ten appearances this term as well. As such, it is being reported that a whole host of clubs will target the 24-year-old next summer.
Important player for Gerrard
Aribo is a creative force for the 54-time Scottish champions. In fact, when he was missing through injury, Brian Laudrup even said Steven Gerrard was missing his vital spark. The manager himself also knows how important Aribo is, calling him “stunning” earlier this year.
Has Aribo been a success at Ibrox?
In a recent report from The Athletic, it was said that Aribo’s current value is at £11m – a sum that would be all profit for the Gers if they were to move him on. However, at the moment, Gerrard will only be looking at what he can bring to his side during what is a huge campaign as the Ibrox outfit go for a first piece of major silverware since 2011. There is still a long way to go before next summer.
