As per Foot Mercato, Glasgow Rangers striker Alfredo Morelos is a priority for Fiorentina.
The Colombia international has long been linked with a move to Lille, with whom he is said to have agreed personal terms.
However, there has been little movement on that front recently, and as such, the Serie A outfit are said to be eyeing a deal. If La Viola want to sign him, though, they must first sell – the Ibrox outfit still want €20m (£18.2m) for the 24-year-old.
The list of who doesn’t want Morelos is now almost shorter than who does. That may be a slight exaggeration, but the number of sides who want him appears to be on the rise with each passing day. Yet here we are, with less than a month left of the transfer window and, other than Lille’s £16m bid, which Les Dogues’ president Gerard Lopez confirmed, there appears to have been no other concrete approach.
Will Morelos still be at Rangers by the end of the transfer window?
Like many of the other options, Fiorentina would be an interesting option – the likes of Franck Ribery and Federico Chiesa would likely provide fantastic service for the former HJK Helsinki man. For the Gers and Steven Gerrard, though, the speculation is likely becoming tiresome. It is about time this saga is concluded once and for all.
