As per Football Insider, West Ham have reignited their interest in Glasgow Rangers’ Alfredo Morelos.
It is reported that they could now sign him for £12m – which is some way off the £20m the Glasgow side wanted earlier this year.
Another day, another Morelos rumour. It will not be great news for Steven Gerrard and co, but it has already been reported that the Ibrox outfit expect the £10.8m-valued Colombia international – as per Transfermarkt – to no longer be with the club next term – it is therefore unsurprising that a number of sides would be keeping an eye on him.
Will Morelos be at Rangers next season?
For the Gers, £12m would be far from what they would usually want – that represents a 40% drop in regards to that £20m fee – but it is still a good price, and the longer this saga plays out the worse the effect on the Gers’ morale and plans for the new campaign.
Perhaps the 54-time Scottish champions could haggle for a couple of extra million, but it is hard to see them getting much more in this current climate.
