As per Football Insider, West Bromwich Albion have enquired about Glasgow Rangers striker Alfredo Morelos.
Morelos has continually been linked with a move away from Ibrox this summer, with him even said to have agreed personal terms with Lille.
Now, it is the newly-promoted Premier League side who are eyeing the 24-year-old as they look to add to their attacking options.
Morelos is on the edge of departing the 54-time Scottish champions, it seems – that appears to be no longer up for debate. Now, it is about the Gers and the Colombia international himself securing a deal that will satisfy all parties involved.
The likes of Porto, Bayer Leverkusen, AC Milan and Marseille have all been mentioned alongside Lille – all of these sides will either be playing European football next term, or are at least world-renowned institutions whose return to the good times may be just around the corner – with all due respect to the Baggies, they do not fall into either of these categories.
Will Morelos still be at Rangers by the end of the transfer window?
With a Transfermarkt value of £13.5m, it has been said the Gers want £20m for their star player – the Midlands club have already parted with £18m to secure the services of Grady Diangana next summer, and it remains to be seen whether they can match the Gers’ demands. Morelos, though, will surely feel he can do better.
