As per GlasgowLive, Glasgow Rangers are willing to let Jamie Murphy and Jordan Jones leave Ibrox should they receive acceptable offers.
Now, it appears that another two members of Steven Gerrard’s squad in Murphy and Jones could be on their way out of the door if the Gers receive a bid to their liking.
The duo are certainly peripheral members of Gerrard’s squad – they managed just 17 games between them for the 54-time Scottish champions last term, whilst they are yet to feature for a single minute this time around. It seems quite clear that they are not a big part of the boss’ plans moving forward.
In £540,000-valued Jones’ case (as per Transfermarkt), it makes perfect sense – he managed just two assists and failed to even score once last season in the 15 matches he played – but there is a sense that Murphy deserves another chance. He scored seven goals in 10 matches whilst on loan at Burton Albion in the second half of last term, and he has six strikes and and 13 assists in 29 matches since joining the Gers.
Would you sell both Jamie Murphy and Jordan Jones this summer?
