According to TVI24, FC Porto are interested in Glasgow Rangers’ Alfredo Morelos.
Morelos has already been the Portuguese side’s nemesis in recent times, scoring twice in two matches against the Dragoes in last season’s Europa League.
That has been enough for Porto to sit up and take notice, and they are now said to be the latest team in pursuit of the 24-year-old.
Two-time European Cup/Champions League winners Porto join a long list of clubs who have been linked to the striker. Lille have long thought to be leading the race to sign him – he is said to have agreed personal terms with Les Dogues – but the likes of Marseille and AC Milan have also been mentioned as potential suitors more recently.
There seems to be no lack of potential options for Morelos – it is now a matter of getting the deal over the line. It is clear he is already becoming a problem for Steven Gerrard at Ibrox – he has not played a minute in each of the last two matches – and as such, the 54-time Scottish champions should be looking for a swift resolution to this situation.
Will Morelos still be at Rangers by the end of the transfer window?
Hopefully, the £13.5m-valued star finds a new place to call home as soon as possible.
