Glasgow Rangers: Update provided on future of Borna Barisic

According to the Daily Record, Leeds United have made no bids for Glasgow Rangers defender Borna Barisic.
A report from Croatian outlet Sportske Novosti says that the Whites had made an offer of €9m (£8m) to the Ibrox outfit to try and sign Barisic.
However, the Daily Record have now quashed those claims, saying that no offer has been lodged. They have also claimed that the ‘Gers would want £16m before they would consider selling him.
Barisic is one of the most important players in Steven Gerrard’s squad – he racked up 14 assists last term and he has started every single game so far this season as well. With one goal and three assists to his name this term, he is already showing that he has a big role to play at Ibrox in the months ahead.
Is Barisic Rangers' best player?
Yes

No

Ryan Kent and Alfredo Morelos have both been linked with moves away from Scotland, but Barisic would arguably be a bigger blow than either of those if he were to depart. It is paramount that Ross Wilson and co do all they can to keep him at the club – at the moment, at least, it doesn’t look as though they need to do too much convincing if there is no concrete interest from prospective suitors.
