According to The Daily Record, Al Duhail are considering another move for Glasgow Rangers striker Alfredo Morelos.
Steven Gerrard and co. have managed to hold on to the Colombia international so far – they even turned down a bid from Serie A outfit Torino on deadline day.
However, whilst the majority of transfer windows have now slammed shut, clubs in the Qatar Stars League have until October 25th to complete deals and as such, Duhail may return for the 24-year-old after they had a £13m offer rejected in the summer.
No matter how long Morelos stays with the 54-time Scottish champions, it seems he will be continually linked with the exit door. Throughout the summer, there has been speculation surrounding his future, with him even said to have agreed personal terms with Lille.
Do you think Morelos will move to Qatar?
Morelos has been a stunning player for the Ibrox outfit, scoring 82 goals in 142 games since joining in 2017. There is likely to be lucrative wages on offer in the Middle East, but with all due respect to the Qatar Stars League, the former HJK Helsinki forward can do better than that, especially considering the likes of Marseille, AC Milan and Fiorentina have all previously been mentioned as potential suitors. When he does eventually move on, he deserves a far bigger platform on which to shine.
