Rangers: RB Leipzig set for Ianis Hagi offer

According to Mundo Deportivo, RB Leipzig are set to make a formal offer for Glasgow Rangers star Ianis Hagi.
Hagi eyed
Leipzig have been linked with a move for the £4.05m-valued 22-year-old (Transfermarkt), who only made the permanent switch to Ibrox last summer.
Now, this latest report says that Hagi is highly-valued by the Bundesliga outfit, and they are now set to make a formal offer.
Too soon
This has been somewhat of a mixed campaign for Hagi. Earlier on in the season, he was on the end of plenty of criticism from the club’s supporters, and he has only started three matches in the Premiership since October 25th. However, that has not stopped him netting four goals and racking up 10 assists in all competitions.
RB Leipzig are a hugely controversial club in Germany – one fan was even quoted in a Financial Times article as calling them an “absolute perversion” – but on the pitch, they are a significant step up from the Gers. They are currently second in the Bundesliga, while they are also through to the Champions League round of 16 – they made the semi-finals of the same competition last season.
Do you want Hagi to leave?
Yes

No

They are plenty of signs that Hagi has a big future ahead of him, but he has someway to go to earn a move to a team like Leipzig. This speculation may be a little too soon to be concrete.
In other news, Rangers fans are disgusted by comments from this journalist.
