# Rangers: Fans react to Edmiston House announcement

**Glasgow Rangers have announced that the Glasgow County Council have [approved](https://www.rangers.co.uk/article/planning-permission-confirmed-for-new-edmiston-house/5YuyP0g7DFjdscs46kSfs4) plans for a new, two-storey facility that will replace Edmiston House outside Ibrox.**

There has been plenty of success for the Gers on the pitch so far this campaign, as they top both the Premiership and their Europa League group, and it seems that Ross Wilson and co are also getting things done behind the scenes. This new facility will allow the club to host a variety of different events when the building is completed, and it will also be a place for fans to enjoy the pre-match build-up before making their way over to the ground for the game itself.

Unsurprisingly, this latest big announcement from the club has attracted plenty of interest from the Gers supporters, who have taken to Twitter to share their thoughts on the matter.
