# Rangers: Fans rage at Team of the Week

**Glasgow Rangers fans are enraged by the latest SPFL Team of the Week.**

The Gers were in fantastic form this past weekend, beating Aberdeen 4-0 at Ibrox thanks to goals from Ryan Kent, James Tavernier, Kemar Roofe and Scott Arfield. The [three](https://www.bbc.com/sport/football/scottish-premiership/table) points sees them extend their lead at the top of the Premiership table to 11 points, and they remain [unbeaten](https://www.skysports.com/rangers-results) in 21 games in all competitions following the result.

On Tuesday, the governing body’s official Twitter account [released](https://twitter.com/spfl/status/1331276790044762118) the Team of the Week for the past matchday. Roofe was chosen following his goal against the Dons, but this didn’t go down well at all with the club’s supporters. Some believed that others were more deserving, whilst some complained that he was the only Rangers player included – even though there can only be one representative per team.

The fans took to the social media platform to share their anger.

### **Let’s see what the Rangers fans had to say about the TOTW below**

> Whoever decides this stuff needs sacked. Too often I’m baffled as to how these decisions are made. No disrespect to Roofe but he definately wasn’t star man material. Kent, Tav and Arfield were streaks ahead
