# Rangers: Fans react to Nikola Katic video

**Glasgow Rangers fans have been reacting to a video of central defender Nikola Katic scoring for the club.**

While it has been a fantastic campaign for the Gers this term, Croatian Katic has not been able to enjoy their success. An injury sustained in pre-season ([BBC](https://www.bbc.com/sport/football/53305593#:~:text=Nikola%20Katic%3A%20Rangers%20defender%20out%20for%20'foreseeable%20future'%20with%20injury,-6%20Jul&text=Rangers%20defender%20Nikola%20Katic%20is,according%20to%20the%20Ibrox%20club.)) means that he has not played a single minute in any competition this term ([Transfermarkt](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/nikola-katic/leistungsdatendetails/spieler/422051)), and he is only now approaching a return to the action.

The £1.44m-valued 24-year-old ([Transfermarkt](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/nikola-katic/marktwertverlauf/spieler/422051)) was an important player for Steven Gerrard last time out, playing in [19](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/nikola-katic/leistungsdatendetails/spieler/422051) of the Ibrox outfit’s 29 Premiership games. He is a popular figure amongst the club’s supporters as well, if the responses to a [video shared by the club’s official Twitter account](https://twitter.com/RangersFC/status/1360529146615459841) are anything to go by. The clip shows him netting against Midtjylland in the Europa League.
