# Rangers: Ryan Jack admits frustration at injury

**Glasgow Rangers midfielder Ryan Jack has admitted his frustration at being on the sidelines for a number of weeks this season due to injury.**

### **Jack admits frustration**

Jack’s substitute appearance against Ross County, in which he scored in a 5-0 victory, saw him pick up his first minutes of action in the Premiership since November 22nd – a knee injury had kept him out for a sustained period prior ([Transfermarkt](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/ryan-jack/leistungsdaten/spieler/60793)).

Following the match, Jack admitted his frustration with being unable to play. He said ([via The Daily Record](https://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/ryan-jack-makes-rangers-injury-23383915)):

Having Jack back available is a huge boost for Steven Gerrard. The Gers are on the edge of winning a first piece of major silverware in 10 years – with 13 games left in the Premiership, they are 23 points ahead of Celtic ([BBC](https://www.bbc.com/sport/football/scottish-premiership/table)). Having Jack back in the side could be vital in helping them get over the line – and he can also contribute in any potential Europa League and Scottish Cup runs too.
