# Rangers: Fans love Scott Arfield news

**Glasgow Rangers fans are delighted after Steven Gerrard confirmed Scott Arfield has returned to training with the Ibrox outfit.**

Arfield has been a very important member of the Gers squad so far this campaign, scoring seven goals and providing five assists in 31 matches in all competitions ([Transfermarkt](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/scott-arfield/leistungsdaten/spieler/55291)). However, he has unfortunately been unavailable for the last eight Premiership matches due to injury.

Ahead of the Gers’ clash with Kilmarnock on Saturday – one he started among the substitutes – Gerrard confirmed that the Canada international had returned to training with the first team. This should be a fantastic boost for the Gers as they close in on the Premiership title and prepare to take on Royal Antwerp in the Europa League round of 32.
