# Rangers: Fans want to sign Kenny McLean

**Glasgow Rangers have been linked with a move for Norwich City and Scotland midfielder Kenny McLean.**

The 28-year-old has been a hero on the international stage in recent months, netting the winning penalty in the shoot-out against Israel for the Tartan Army whilst also scoring against Serbia to help the Scots book their place at Euro 2020.

For the Canaries, he played [37](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/kenny-mclean/leistungsdatendetails/spieler/126600) times in the Premier League last season. He has started just [four](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/kenny-mclean/leistungsdatendetails/spieler/126600/saison//verein/0/liga/0/wettbewerb//pos/0/trainer_id/0/plus/1) of their 11 matches in the Championship so far this campaign, though, and that is why he could be on the move as soon as January. [According to The Scottish Sun](https://www.thescottishsun.co.uk/sport/football/6283178/rangers-shock-move-scotland-kenny-mclean/), Rangers are either looking for a deal paid in installments or a loan-to-buy agreement.

This latest speculation has attracted plenty of attention from the Gers supporters, and it seems they would be delighted to sign him. They took to Twitter to share their thoughts.
