# Rangers: Fans laud Oli McBurnie

**Glasgow Rangers fans surprisingly had plenty of praise for Oli McBurnie on Thursday after comments he made towards Michael Stewart.**

Fans of the Ibrox outfit will have been watching Scotland in action as they played Serbia for a place at Euro 2020. In the end, the Tartan Army booked their spot via a penalty shoot-out after drawing 1-1 in normal and extra time. David Marshall was the hero, saving Aleksandar Mitrovic’s spot-kick.

McBurnie was a substitute in the match, and although he was unable to score in normal time, he netted his penalty fantastically. He had a choice word for Stewart after the match, slamming the pundit after he had earlier tweeted that the Sheffield United forward is [not good enough.](https://twitter.com/mstewart_23/status/1327004093177585666)

Rangers fans, who have had [plenty of problems](https://www.footballtransfertavern.com/rangers-fc-news/glasgow-rangers-fans-hammer-stewart/) with Stewart in the past, were delighted with the [£13.5m-valued](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/oliver-mcburnie/marktwertverlauf/spieler/298477) man (Transfermarkt). They took to Twitter to share their thoughts.

### **Let’s see what they had to say about McBurnie below**
